Island Revolution is currently hiring for the upcoming 2008 season. 

We are currently offering jobs in the following categories:

NOTE:  EMPLOYEES MUST UNDERSTAND THAT THEY ARE COUNTED ON TO SHOW UP ON TIME AND READY TO WORK--WE NEED ONLY RELIABLE APPLICANTS  

Customer Service rep:  looking for prospective employees to be able to perform the following tasks: provide excellent customer service (being nice and helping out customers), this is your main responsibility so if you are not nice and you don't like helping customers-DO NOT APPLY.  Employees would also be responsible for cash register duties, merchandising clothing, and cleaning duties.

Surf Instructor:  Surf instructors would be responsible for teaching surf lessons.  Applicants  must be able to surf first and foremost.  They must also be able to provide customers with knowledge of surfing and applying that to a lesson.  If you don't like to talk to people, DON'T APPLY for this is one of the  most important tasks as a surf instructor.  Instructors will be counted on to meet and greet students at shop and coordinate equipment (surfboards and wetsuits if necessary) for lesson.  They will also be responsible to transport equipment to beach for lessons.  Employees must have a valid driver's license to apply for surf instructor. 

Skate Park Attendants:  Applicants must be able to skate.  Applicants main responsibility is maintain order and safety regarding the skate park.  Attendants will make sure all  skaters have on proper equipment.  They will also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining pads, sweeping park, and general cleanliness of skate park. Skate attendants will also be in charge of the skate clinics.  Applicants will offer knowledge of skating and apply that to a lesson. If you don't like to talk to people, again please don't apply!
